Prerequesite

Some acquaintance with matrix algebra will help. If not familiar, the following tutorial on Matrix basics and Matrix operations (left toolbars) is a nice overview http://stattrek.com/tutorials/matrix-algebra-tutorial.aspx.

Some acquaintance with basic mathematical models of population dynamics is assumed (e.g., the exponential and logistic growth models, BIDE balance equations).

Some experience with R or other code-based computing languages will be of help, but not necessary.
